Ryan Bader Biography

Ryan Bader is famous for his talent in the field of mixed martial arts. Born in Reno, Nevada, in 1983, Bader excelled tremendously at amateur wrestling throughout his childhood. In fact, he graduated high school ranked as the fourth best wrestler in the country, which earned him an athletic scholarship to Arizona State University. As a student athlete at ASU, Bader became the recipient of three Pac-10 Champion winning titles over the course of his four-year collegiate career. After graduating, he began training at Arizona Combat Sports in early 2007 and never looked back. Bader first pursued his fighting career as a contestant on season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter before competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2009. Bader has since amassed a total of 19 out of 23 professional wins as a mixed martial artist. He has earned a purple belt in Brazilian Ji-Jitsu and continues to compete for the Power MMA Team. Bader is a husband and father of two in addition to being a great role model as an athlete.
