Sandra Gal Biography

Sandra Gal is a professional golfer born in Germany who has been playing on the LPGA Tour since 2008. Gal turned professional in 2007 after attending the University of Florida. Prior to her professional debut and collegiate career, she had picked up golf by the age of 5 and played throughout European resorts on family vacations during her childhood years. Gal joined the German National Team at age 17 and had earned the title of the German National Girls Championship Winner by age 18. As a Florida Gator, she won four NCAA events while excelling in academics, as well. She graduated with a degree in advertising and entered the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in 2007. Due to her high achievements in the Qualifying Tournament, she earned a spot on the LPGA Tour the following year. Gal has been golfing on the tour ever since and has obtained one professional win so far at the Kia Classic in March of 2014. She plays passionately and is expected to continue doing great things on the LPGA Tour.
