Scott Gutschewski Biography

Scott Gutschewski is an Omaha, Nebraska native and played his collegiate golf at both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska. While playing at Nebraska he helped the Corn Huskers to a 14th place finish at the 1999 NCAA Championships before turning pro later that year. Upon turning pro he joined the Tight lies Tour and played on the Prairie Tour, NGA Hooters Tour and Canadian Tour before joining the Nationwide Tour in 2003. During his rookie season he finished 26th on the money list and would jump to 17th on the money list the following year which enabled him to earn his PGA Tour card. Since that time he has captured two wins on the Web.com Tour at the 2003 Monterey Peninsula Classic and 2008 Rex Hospital Open. His best finish in a major championship to date was in 2005 when he finished 74th at The Open Championship.
