Scott O'Neil Biography

Scott O’Neil is the CEO of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devls.  O'Neil had been the Senior Vice President of Team Marketing and Business Operations for the National Baseball Association. Prior to joining the NBA in 2001 he served as the President for HoopsTV.com where he oversaw the management team and staff for the company while also negotiating contracts with companies such as ESPN and Footaction. Upon joining the NBA he served as the Vice President of Business Operations and Team Consulting where he worked closely with NBA and WNBA teams to drive revenue and further develop their franchise brands. In his current role he is responsible for advising NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League teams on all business operations including sales and service, ticket sales, sponsorship development and marketing. For his contributions to the league and to the sports world as a whole he has been named to the Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal and Advertising Age “Forty Under 40” lists and is widely considered to be one of the best and brightest sports executives in the business.
