Stetson Bennett Biography

Stetson Bennett is a quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams who has an amazing success story. Bennett led Georgia at quarterback as they won their first national championship in over four decades and only followed it up with a second title in 2023. That culmination of a career was even more special given that Bennett is a lifelong Bulldogs fan and went from walk-on to starter on the biggest stage. UGA won the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game over Alabama 33-18, capping a season where he threw for just under 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns against only seven interceptions. He was named MVP of the title game and also the Orange Bowl in 2021. Bennett was not even Georgia's quarterback to start the year, but he never gave up the job after JT Daniels got injured. Bennett also played significant snaps for UGA the previous two seasons. He began his career at the school but out transferred to Jones County Junior College before returning to campus in Athens and getting his shot.
