Taylor Phinney Biography

Taylor Phinney is a professional racing cyclist, racing for the UCI ProTeam BMC Racing team.Phinney began his career at age 15, and won his first professional event at age 17 when he won the Junior World Championships for time trial. After signing with Lance Armstrong’s under 23 team, PHinney would be victourious in numerous events, including the 2009 and 2010 UCI Track Cycling Championships. Phinney would leave the Armstrong organization in 2011, signing with BMC racing, and ultimately experiencing his greatest success with BMC. His victories in various stages of the Giro d’Italia, the Dubai Tour, and the National Time Trial Championships have led to Phinney emerging into a force to be reckoned with for the near future.
