The Big Show Biography

Paul Wight or “The Big Show,” is a professional wrestler who currently works for the WWE. He is known for his immense size, being billed at seven feet tall and 435 pounds. Show broke into professional wrestling with WCW in 1995, being promoted as Andre the Giant’s son, and debuting with the ring name, “The Giant.” In his first professional match, The Giant won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Hulk Hogan. After a four year stint with WCW, Wight signed a ten year deal with the WWE, and has been with the company ever since under the ring named “The Big Show.” Over his long career with the WWE, Big Show has won multiple championships, including the WWE championship, the World Heavyweight championship, the Tag Team Championship, the ECW championship, and many more. He has switched from heel to face on multiple occasions, and has been a part of many stables within the WWE. One of his most highly televised feuds was his feud against boxer Floyd Mayweather, a feud that would culminate in a match at Wrestlemania XXIV, a match he would lose after Mayweather would knock out Show with brass knuckles. Big Show is still a main player in the WWE, and has certainly done enough to be considered a future WWE Hall of Famer.
