TJ Oshie Biography

TJ Oshie was the St. Louis Blues first overall pick in the 2005 NHL Draft and has since become their team captain. After earning Minnesota Mr. Hockey honors in 2004 he headed to the University of North Dakota and became a star for three seasons before finally joining the St. Louis Blues in 2008. During his first six seasons in the NHL he has scored 91 goals and posted 164 assists for a total of 255 points. He’s also led the Blues to four playoff appearances and unprecedented success during his time with the team. In 2014 he joined the USA National Hockey Team to compete in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games and provided excellent play and leadership for his team and country during the games. His other international experience includes participating in the 2006 World Junior Championships and in the Ice Hockey World Championships in which he led Team USA to a Bronze Medal in 2013.
