Warrick Dunn Biography

Warrick Dunn starred in the NFL for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. Dunn was a three-time Pro Bowler and the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1997. He had two 1,000 yard seasons in Tampa Bay and contributed to the rise of the Bucs. Three out of his six seasons in Atlanta saw Dunn run for over 1,000 yards. He was taken with the 12th pick out of Florida State in 1997. Dunn was a three-time All-ACC pick for the Noles, holds the school’s career rushing record, and won a national title in 1993. His #28 jersey is honored by the university. Dunn is one of the most charitable athletes in recent memory. His Homes for the Holidays and Warrick Dunn Charities initiatives have led to over 20 community awards for service. Dunn’s autobiography, Running For My Life chronicles his depression battles and how he dealt with the murder of his mother.
