Five-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Nastia Liukin Keynotes SME Women in Business Tuesday

The SME Women in Business event has replaced one great Olympic gymnastics champion with another. Shawn Johnson was originally supposed to serve as keynote speaker, but now five-time gold medalist Nastia Liukin will take her place.

The summit takes place tomorrow at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in South Dakota. Doors officially open at noon and Liukin will close the event with her presentation at 6:50 p.m.

Her speech will be preceded by the Women of Excellence Awards. Individual tickets to attend the day's festivities are $75 while tables of ten can be reserved for $750.

Liukin won the individual all-around gymnastics gold and four other medals at the 2008 Olympics. She is tied with Shannon Miller and Simone Biles for having won the most medals for an American gymnast at one Olympics.

Liukin competed at three World Championships and won a total of nine medals. She was a two-time U.S. national champion at the senior level.

Liukin retired from gymnastics in 2012 and has worked as a commentator for NBC Sports. She also made an appearance on the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars.
