Former Olympic Gymnast Shannon Miller Keynotes Charlene’s Light Dinner

Shannon Miller reached the pinnacle of gymnastics in the 1990's.  She has remained a popular speaker and this Saturday she will keynote a dinner for Charlene's Light in Duluth, Minnesota.

Charlene's Light is a foundation for ovarian cancer.  Miller's appearance is part of a weekend of events under the Light Duluth Teal banner.

The dinner will be held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center and featured a wine auction and live auction.  Individual adult tickets cost $75 and a table of eight is $1000.

Miller collected a total of seven Olympic medals between the 1992 and 1996 Games.  That total makes her the most decorated male or female U.S. gymnast ever.

Miller was the all-around silver medalist in 1992 and was a member of the Team USA gold medal winning squad in 1996.  From 1993-94, he also won two gold all-around medals at the World Championships.
