Next Wednesday, Seattle Seahawks star safety Earl Thomas will host a special event for some of his young local fans. The Earl Thomas Football ProCamp will teach football fundamentals to boys and girls in grades 1-8.
The one-day camp will be held at Eastside Catholic in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish, Washington. The day lasts from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Registration to attend is $149. Campers will receive an autograph from Thomas, camp t-shirt and team photo.
Thomas has been selected to five straight Pro Bowls and is a three-time first-team All-Pro. He has played in 16 games each season since being a first round pick of the Seahawks in 2010.
There is no denying Thomas' key role in elevating Seattle to perennial contenders. He was a member of squads that made back-to-back Super Bowl appearances and came out victorious in Super Bowl XLVIII.
Thomas played college football at the University of Texas. In his final season, he helped the Longhorns reach the BCS National Championship Game and was a consensus All-American.
