This month, Adidas listed a grouping of sports stars in a global ad campaign. Los Angeles Sparks standout Candace Parker was one featured in the "I'm Here to Create" spots.
The commercials give a personal feel that appears like individuals' Instagram videos. Parker is seen working out and playing basketball with her daughter.
Her daughter steals the ad, saying at one point "My mom is a beast". Others featured in the campaign include tennis stars Caroline Wozniacki and Ana Ivanovic.
Parker joined the Sparks in 2008 and is a three-time WNBA All-Star. During her first season in the league, she was named MVP, Rookie of the Year, and the All-WNBA First-Team.
Parker also took home the WNBA MVP award in 2013. She led the league in rebounding her first two seasons and has helped Los Angeles make the playoffs six times.
Parker played internationally in Russia as well and is a two-time Olympic gold medalist. She holds the unique distinction of being the first woman to dunk in an NCAA Tournament game and the second to dunk in a WNBA game.
