About Adam Graves
Adam Graves suited up for four different franchises in his 17 year NHL career, but is best known for his time spent with the New York Rangers. In 1994, Graves had a career high 79 points, made his only All-Star team, and the Rangers won the Stanley Cup. His 52 goals that season were a Rangers team record at the time. His ten-year career in New York is honored in the Madison Square Garden rafters with his retired #9 jersey. Graves originally came up with the Detroit Red Wings and also helped the Edmonton Oilers win a Stanley Cup in 1990. While he had a standout career on the ice, he was also known for his great work in the community. Graves won the NHL’s King Clancy Memorial Trophy for leadership and humanitarian efforts. He still serves in the Rangers organization as a community relations ambassador while working with the team’s prospects as a development coach.
