Adolis Garcia had a unique road to becoming an All-Star outfielder. Garcia defected from Cuba and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016. He made his major league debut for the club in 2018. A year later, Garcia was traded to the Texas Rangers, where he became an All-Star in 2021.
