About Aeneas Williams
Aeneas Williams is a former professional football player who played cornerback and free safety during his time in the NFL. After posting a record number of interceptions in his Junior year, and only one year playing at the collegiate level at Southern University, Aeneas gained the attention of many NFL teams. After only one year of active participation in NCAA football, he was drafted by the Cardinals in the 1991 NFL draft. His career took off from there and was highlighted by 8 pro bowl appearances, 4 first-team all-pro honors and being an NFC Champion. Though out his career, he recorded 795 tackles as well as 55 interceptions. While he was not able to capture that elusive Super Bowl victory, Aeneas’ skill definitely did not go unnoticed and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of fame in 2014.
