About Akbar Gbaja-Biamila
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila became known on the football field, but he has achieved even greater success off the gridiron. Gbaja-Biamila has been one of the co-hosts of the wildly popular show American Ninja Warrior since 2015. He also stays close to football through his work on the NFL Network with NFL Fantasy Live. Gbaja-Biamila had a four-year NFL career after going undrafted out of San Diego State in 2003. He played for the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins. His brother, Kabeer, also had success as a former defensive end for the Green Bay Packers. In addition to working on TV today, Gbaja-Biamila is active in the community as a board member for the Asomugha Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. In 2019, he published his first book, "Everyone Can Be a Ninja."
