About Andrew Nembhard
Andrew Nembhard is a Canadian NBA player for the Indiana Pacers. Hailing from. Aurora, Ontario, he was drafted 31st overall in 2022. Nembhard has emerged as a reliable point guard known for his high basketball IQ and clutch performances. Initially attending the University of Florida, he transferred to Gonzaga University, where he earned first-team All-WCC honors and led the Bulldogs to a 2021 Final Four appearance, averaging 9.0 points and 4.4 assists over his college career.
In the NBA, he set a Pacers rookie record for assists and shone in the 2024 playoffs, hitting a game-winning three-pointer in Game 3 against the New York Knicks. Off the court, he comes from a basketball family. His brother Ryan plays professionally, and his father coached him growing up. Nembhard also represented Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics, helping secure a quarterfinal finish.
