About Andy Petree
Andy Petree has spent his entire professional life somehow involved in NASCAR. Petree had a brief run as a driver, but is perhaps best known for serving as Dale Earnhardt's crew chief during his sixth and seventh Cup Series championships. He subsequently became a race team owner in NASCAR, buying the No. 33 team and employing driver Ken Schrader. Schrader raced to a top ten finish in the standings in their first year. Petree went on to serve as a NASCAR analyst for ESPN for nearly a decade.
