About Anna Sidorova
Anna Sidorova is a curler for the Russian women’s national team. She represented Russia in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. After the 2014 Sochi Games, her home country would medal for the first time at the World Championships, capturing the bronze. Sidorova was also a part of the curling team that won the gold at the 2012 European Championships. She was a bronze medalist at the 2011 and 2012 World Junior Curling Championships. A leg injury nudged her into curling and away from figure skating at 13 years old. Her beauty has brought added attention to curling and she was one of the sporting stars in Russia in the lead up and aftermath of the 2014 Olympics. Sidorova resides in Moscow.
