About Arielle Gold
Arielle Gold has long been one of America's top female snowboarders. She first made waves at the age of 15 by taking home a gold medal in the halfpipe at the 2012 FIS Junior Snowboarding World Championships. A year later, she became the second youngest snowboarder to win at the FIS Snowboarding World Championships when she came away with gold in halfpipe. Gold earneda spot on the U.S. Olympic team in 2014, but an injury forced her from the competition. She rebounded four years later, winning a bronze medal in women's halfpipe at the 2018 Olympics. Gold also has three medals in SuperPipe from the Winter X Games. She originally learned to ski when she was three years old and took on snowboarding at age seven. Gold is a member of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Her older brother is Olympic snowboarder Tyler Gold.
