About Ashley Harkleroad
Ashley Harkleroad is a retired tennis player who finished with a career singles record of 213-140. In 2007, Harkleroad rose to a career high 39th in the world rankings. Her best Grand Slam finish was reaching the third round of the Australian Open in 2007 and the French Open in 2003. Harkleroad was winner of eight ITF titles. She originally turned pro at age 15 in 2000. At four years old she started playing tennis in Rossville, Georgia. In 2008, Harkleroad gained notoriety for posing in the August edition of Playboy while recovering from ovarian cyst surgery. After her 2012 retirement, she became an analyst for the Tennis Channel. Harkleroad currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
