About Ashley Wagner
Ashley Wagner is a two-time U.S. national champion ice skater. Wagner won Olympic bronze with Team USA in 2014. The 2012 Grand Prix Final silver medalist has captured three gold medals at Grand Prix events. Wagner’s top finish at the World Championships was a fourth place showing in 2012. At the 2012 Four Continents Championships, her gold medal performance garnered the highest overall scores of anyone in the world that season. Her clockwise jumps and spins make her unique in the skating world. Wagner first skated at age five in East River, Alaska. Tara Lipinski’s 1998 gold medal victory was fueled her Olympic dream. As the daughter of retired Lieutenant Colonel Eric Wagner, she had an interesting childhood, moving seven times. Nike, Pandora Jewelry, and Cover Girl have sponsored Wagner. She trains out of Artesia, California and is currently eyeing her chances at a medal in the 2018 Winter Olympics.
