About Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein is a Poker Hall of Famer and noted philanthropist. Greenstein has won three World Series of Poker and two World Poker Tour bracelets. He was second in the 2008 WSOP Player of the Year standings. Greenstein’s book, “Ace on the River”, has helped many poker players succeed. He has donated over four million dollars in winnings, including $1.5 million to the charity Children, Incorporated. As a result, Greenstein is known as the “Robin Hood of Poker”. The Chicago, Illinois native attended Bogan High School and the University of Illinois, graduating with a degree in computer science. Greenstein always played poker, but also worked for a tech startup called Symantec for seven years. He has two children and four stepchildren. One of his stepchildren, Joe Sebok, is a professional poker player that helped Greenstein start the website PokerRoad. Greenstein knew how to play poker at age four.
