About Beth Mowins
Beth Mowins is a pioneer in the field of broadcasting and a trailblazer for all women who seek to do sports play-by-play. Mowins originally started at ESPN in 1994 and worked her way up, calling a host of NCAA Championships. She has been the voice of the Women's College World Series for over two decades. In 2017, Mowins was the first woman in 30 years to call a nationally televised NFL game. Outside of ESPN, she has worked NFL preseason games for the Oakland Raiders and currently broadcasts a limited schedule for the Chicago Cubs. Mowins is a graduate of Syracuse University's renowned S.I. Newhouse School and a member of the Greater Syracuse Hall of Fame.
