About Bethanie Mattek-Sands
Bethanie Mattek-Sands is a successful doubles and mixed doubles American tennis player. She has won 19WTA Tour titles in doubles. In 2015, Mattek-Sands captured two Grand Slam doubles victories at the Australian Open and French Open. Her highest world ranking in doubles is third. She also holds mixed doubles Grand Slam titles from the 2012 Australian Open and 2015 French Open. At the 2016 Olympics, Mattek-Sands won gold for Team USA in mixed doubleswith playing partner Jack Sock. She hascompeted on the singles circuit as well and has four runner-up showings on the WTA Tour. Mattek-Sands has had a lengthy playing career and participated in her first WTA Tour event in 1999.
