Bill Hancock Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Bill Hancock has had a lengthy and distinguished career at the top of college athletics. He began as an assistant sports information director at the University of Oklahoma in 1971. Hancock spent 16 years working with the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship. For 13 years, he served as the first director of the NCAA Final Four. In 2005, Hancock left the hoops world to take over as administrator for the BCS. He became director there in 2009. With the creation of the College Football Playoff, Hancock jumped over to serve as the firstexecutive director of the new system to declare a national champion. In addition to his day jobs, he has been on the staff for the United State Olympic Committee at 12 Olympic Games. He is a member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, College Sports Information Directors Hall of Fame and All College Basketball Classic Hall of Fame.
