About Billy Andrade
After leading the Wake Forest University golf team to the NCAA Championship in 1986, Billy Andrade turned professional the next year. Billy has four wins while on the PGA Tour and nine total wins at the professional level. He is known as being the first golfer to win an event on the PGA Tour using the ProV1 golf ball at the 2000 Invensys Classis at Las Vegas. With his success on the course, Bill has been in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. While Billy only plays sporadically now, he is an active contributor to charity. Billy and Brad Faxon run a childrens charity that has donated millions of dollars to help needy children in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For his charitable work, Billy has been awarded the Golf Writers of Americas Charlie Bartlett Award for their unselfish contributions to society as well as the American Heart Associations Gold Heart Award.
