About Brad Marchand
Brad Marchand is a star for the Florida Panthers after building his career legacy with the Boston Bruins.Marchand was a two-time NHL All-Star in Boston and helped them make three trips to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Marchand first made his name in the 2011 postseason. He had 19 points in 25 games as the Bruins won the Stanley Cup.With two goals in the seventh game of the Stanley Cup Final against the Vancouver Canucks, Marchand endeared himself to Boston fans forever.His 11 goals during the playoffs were the second-most for a rookie in NHL history.
Marchand is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia and was selected 71st overall by Boston in the 2006 NHL Draft.Marchand’s appeal also carried off the ice.He started Brad’s Brigade to provide VIP experiences for pediatric cancer patients at Bruins games. Marchand also supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Atlantic provinces in Canada.
