About Brandon Morrow
Brandon Morrow is a top relief pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was an All-Pac 10 selection before being selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 2006 MLB Draft. Morrow debuted with the Mariners the following year and pitched in 60 games out of the bullpen. After three seasons in Seattle, he became a full-time starting pitcher with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2010. In August of that season, Morrow pitched a complete game one-hitter with 17 strikeouts. His best season was 2012, when he went 10-7 with a 2.96 ERA. Morrow left the Blue Jays to sign with the San Diego Padres in 2014. After two injury-plagued seasons with the Padres, he signed with the Dodgers in 2017. Morrow recorded a 2.06 ERA in 45 appearances that season and helped Los Angeles reach the World Series. Outside of his work on the mount, he holds the rare distinction of being an athlete who competes while dealing with Type 1 diabetes.
