About Braylon Edwards
Braylon Edwards is one of the all-time greats in Michigan football history. Edwards was already a two-time All-Big Ten selection and posted multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons entering his historic 2004 senior campaign. That year, he set Wolverines single-season records with 97 receptions and 1,330 receiving yards on the way to being Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, a unanimous All-American, and winning the Biletnikoff Award.
Edwards holds all major Michigan career receiving records and ranks first in Big Ten history with 39 touchdowns. He finished his college career in style, tying a Rose Bowl record with three touchdown catches against Texas. The Cleveland Browns selected him with the third overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
In 2007, Edwards was a Pro Bowler and Second Team All-Pro after recording 1,289 yards and 16 touchdowns, both Brownsâ single season records. He spent parts of five seasons in Cleveland before stints with the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
