About Brendan Steele
Brendan Steele is a professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Originally born in California, Steele attended the University of California, Riverside from 2001 until his graduation in 2005, playing on the golf team throughout his time at the school. Following his graduation, Steele turned professional, competing on the Golden State Tour and winning four tournaments that year. In 2006, Steele moved up to the Canadian Tour, where he played for two years before moving to the Nationwide Tour in 2008. In 2010, Steele won his first and only Nationwide Tour event at the Nationwide Tour Championship, advancing him to sixth on the money list and earning a promotion to the PGA Tour for the 2011 season. That same season, Steele won his first PGA Tour event at the Valero Texas Open, earning 1.1 million dollars and a guaranteed spot on the PGA Tour until the end of 2013. This win also earned Steele a spot in multiple major championships, and he looks to compete for more victories in the upcoming seasons.
