About Brent Pry
Brent Pry is the defensive coordinator at Virginia Tech. He previoiusly spent parts of four seasons as the head coach of the Hokies.
Before joining VT, Pry was best known as an assistant for James Franklin at both Vanderbilt and Penn State. He was hired by Franklin after one year as a defensive coordinator at Georgia Southern, where he led a top-ten FCS defense.
Pry began his career as a student coach at Buffalo. He also had a tenure in Blacksburg as a graduate assistant, prior to stops at Western Carolina, Louisiana and Memphis.
