About Brice Johnson
Brice Johnson was a key piece of North Carolina's 2016 national runner-up team. Johnson averaged 17 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in his senior season. He was a consensus first-team All-American and first-team All-ACC pick. Johnson set school single-season records for rebounds and double-doubles. Along the way, he turned in some masterful performances. In the NCAA Tournament, he averaged 19 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. In the regular season-ending contest against rival Duke, Johnson hauled in 18 points and 21 rebounds. During the only other matchup that year against the Blue Devils, he scored 29 points and grabbed 19 rebounds. Early on in ACC play, Johnson also dominated Florida State, scoring 39 points and adding 23 rebounds. After a couple quite but productive seasons, his play as a junior hinted at what was to come. That season, Johnson was named to the All-ACC third team.
