About C.J. McCollum
C.J. McCollum is a star guard for the Atlanta Hawks. McCollum made his mark over the first nine seasons of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged over 20 points per game for seven straight seasons. During his first 20 ppg campaign, McCollum was named the NBA's Most Improved Player. The Blazers also made the playoffs eight times before McCollum was traded in 2022.
Portland originally selected McCollum in the first round with the 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He was unheralded prior to attending Lehigh University, where he earned honorable mention All-American honors twice and was twice named the Patriot League Player of the Year in 2010 and 2012. In 2012 he led his team to a first-round win in the NCAA Tournament with a 30-point performance against No. 2 Duke University.The following season he broke the Lehigh all-time scoring record and earned the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
