About Cal Raleigh
Cal Raleigh is a power-hitting catcher for the Seattle Mariners. He is also a switch-hitter with elite defensive skills behind the dish for the Mariners. Drafted by Seattle in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Florida State University, Raleigh made his major league debut in 2021. He quickly became a staple within the Seattle lineup as he continued to deliver good performances. He hit a walk-off home run in 2022 to help the Mariners secure their first playoff birth in over 2 decades. In 2024, Raleigh earned Gold and Platinum Glove Awards as he is one of the best defensive players in all of baseball. Off the field, he is actively involved in community outreach, participating in youth baseball clinics and charitable initiatives throughout the Pacific Northwest. Raleigh's leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence make him an inspiring figure for audiences seeking insights on perseverance, teamwork, and achieving success through dedication.
