About Carlos Rogers
Carlos Rogers was a professional cornerback for three different NFL teams. Rogers attended Auburn University where he played for the Tigers’ football team from 2001-04. As a freshman, Rogers was selected as a Freshman All-American and an All-SEC Freshman choice. As a sophomore, he participated in the Capital One Bowl with the Tigers, but he did not make much of an impact in their win. During his junior year, Rogers and the Tigers made it to the 2003 Music City Bowl and beat the University of Wisconsin. The Washington Redskins selected Rogers as the ninth overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft. Rogers made his first NFL regular season start on October 2, 2005 in a win against the Seattle Seahawks. Rogers remained with the Redskins until 2010 and on August 2, 2011, Rogers signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. On March 31, 2014, Rogers signed with the Oakland Raiders.
