About Cassidy Krug
Cassidy Krug is a diver. Both of Krug’s parents are diving coaches and as a result she has been diving her entire life. Krug was a gymnast for 12 years and she quit when she was 15 years old. Krug attended Stanford University and she was on the Stanford diving club. Krug has been a part of the US National Team from 2005-2012. After the 2008 Olympic Trials, Krug took a year off of diving, but she decided to return because she missed the sport and she returned for the 2010 season. Krug competed in the 2011 Pan American Games where she won the silver medal in the 3-meter springboard individual competition and a bronze medal in the synchronized 3-meter -springboard competition. She competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics where she classified 7th in the women’s 3m springboard after she ranked 5th in the semifinals. Krug’s favorite dive is the 405B.
