About Charles Sims
Charles Sims is a running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He serves as a change of pace back for the team behind Doug Martin and is a useful weapon in the passing game. In 2015, Sims' biggest performance of the season came in a 38-31 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He totaled 136 all-purpose yards. The Bucs originally selected him in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Sims played college football at West Virginia and Houston. His final collegiate season was spent with the Mountaineers, when he rushed for 1,095 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named first-team All-Big 12 and the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year. At Houston, Sims had a productive three seasons of action, being honored as both a first and second-team All-Conference USA performer. In each of those three campaigns, he ran for at least nine touchdowns.
