About Charles Warren
A Columbia, South Carolina native, Charles Warren stayed close to home when he accepted an athletics scholarship to Clemson University as a member of the mens golf team. Warren had a record setting career throughout his 4 years at Clemson as one of the best Clemson and ACC golfers of all time. In his junior year, 1997, Clemson became the first ACC player to win both the ACC Championship and NCAA Championship in the same year. After a senior campaign that brought Warren another ACC Championship and a runners-up finish at the NCAAs, Warren was awarded the Dave Williams Award as the nations most outstanding senior golfer. Warren turned professional upon leaving Clemson, beginning with short stints on the Nike and PGA Tour before playing on the Nationwide Tour full-time beginning in 2000. From 2000-2004, Warren won 3 events on the Nationwide Tour, gaining his PGA Card for the 2005 season.
