About Chris Rix
Chris Rix was the first quarterback in Florida State history to be a four-year starter. Throughout his career at FSU, Rix put up numbers that landed him at second on every major Seminole passing record list. Rix led the Seminoles to 4 straight bowl game appearances and 3 ACC titles. Despite his 25-11 record as a starting QB, Rix was never able to beat FSUs biggest rival, the Miami Hurricanes. Rix went undrafted in the NFL Draft but was signed to San Diego Chargers practice squad in 2005. Rix decided to focus his efforts on a career as a sports broadcaster, a role that he still holds to this day. Rix bounced around as a college football and NFL analyst for FOX Sports, CBS, and ABC and currently serves as an analyst for FOX Sports Radio. Rix also has spends his time as a minister for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Southern California.
