About Chris Stroud
Chris Stroud is currently sitting at 101st on the Official World Golf Rankings. He turned professional after attending Lamar University where he was a two-time All-American golfer for the Cardinals. In his amateur days, Stroud won the 2003 North and South Amateur which earned him a spot on the 2004 Palmer Cup team. He played on a few mini-tours after graduating in 2004 before getting his PGA Tour card in 2006. Stroud had a rough couple of years in the first few seasons of his career until he received his card again in 2009 and has been on the Tour ever since. In 2010 Stroud earned his biggest payout with a T-10th performance in The Players Championship. In 2013 he got the best finish of his career with a second place finish in the Travelers Championship. Down 1 stroke on the final hole, Stroud made a magnificent pitch to force a sudden death which he ultimately lost in two holes to Ken Duke. Stroud starts the 2015 PGA Tour campaign as 98th on the Fed-Ex Cup list and has accumulated over $6 Million in earnings over his career.
