About Chris Wingert
Chris Wingert was drafted out of St. John's University where he was a senior captain and winner of the 2003 Hermann Trophy, which is awarded to the nation's top collegiate soccer player. Wingert started his MLS career with the Columbus Crew and has since moved to the Colorado Rapids until he was acquired by Real Salt Lake. In his MLS career, has won both an Eastern and Western MLS Championship as well as an MLS Cup in 2009 with Real Salt Lake. Wingerst played on numerous international squads as a youth and made an appearance for the US Men's National Team in 2007 in a match against Sweden.
