Chykie Brown

Growing up in the heartland of Texas, Chykie Brown knew the importance of football. He began playing at a young age and went on to be an all-state defensive back in one of the best states for high school football. Brown decided to stay close to home and attend the University of Texas for his college career. He had his best year as a junior, starting all 14 games for the Longhorns and logging almost half of his 70 career solo tackles and adding in 2 interceptions as well. In 2011 Brown was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the Fifth Round of the NFL Draft. After seeing very limited time in his rookie season, Brown earned a spot on the field for the 2012 campaign. Early in the playoffs in a tough game against Peyton manning and the Denver Broncos, Brown did an old fashion tip drill to break up a pass that turned into a defensive touchdown for the Ravens. The play turned around the team and led to a Super Bowl XLVII victory in only Brown'’s second season. In the 2014 offseason, Brown was picked up by the New York Giants.
