About Connor Bedard
Connor Bedard was considered to be one of hockey's top prospects in some time prior to being selected with the top overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. Bedard established a sterling reputation during his three seasons of junior hockey with the Regina Pats in the WHL. He was the league's top overall pick in 2020 and won the Rookie of the Year award the following season. Bedard then posted back-to-back 100-point campaigns. He was league MVP and top scorer in 2023 with 143 points. Bedard also starred for Canada's junior national team, setting scoring records with 23 points during the 2023 World Juniors.
