About Corey Pavin
Corey Pavin is an admirable professional golfer who is known for playing on both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. Nicknamed “Bulldog”, Pavin was born in Oxnard, California in 1959 and attended UCLA. He turned professional in 1982 and joined the PGA Tour two years later. Throughout his career, Pavin has been recognized with many honorable awards. He was named the PGA Player of the Year in 1991, was the PGA Tour leading money winner that same year, was inducted into the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame in 2002, and even broke the record for the fewest number of strokes needed to complete nine holes at a PGA Tour event in 2006. Pavin has obtained 28 professional wins to date, 15 earned in the PGA Tour. In addition, he has spent over 150 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking over a span of eleven years. Pavin’s most notable accomplishment occurred in 1995, when he clinched the U.S. Open Championship title. He continues to strive to be the best both on and off the golf course.
