About Crispin Lipscomb
Crispin Lipscomb is a well-distinguished Canadian snowboarder and Olympic competitor. He was born in 1979 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is best known for specializing in the half pipe event. While Lipscomb made his first appearance at the World Cup at the end of 2002, he also made his first podium later that season. Lipscomb has made five World Cup podiums in total, two of them being gold medals in March of 2006 and March of 2008. Lipscomb has also earned two bronze and a silver throughout his competitive career with the World Cup and had his best season in 2005, placing fifth overall in the halfpipe. In addition to his World Cup involvements, Lipscomb has also competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics and at three FIS Snowboarding World Championships. Although he no longer competes at the World Cup level today due to the death of a close friend, Lipscomb still continues to snowboard and carry out his passion.
