D. J. Trahan

Donald Roland Trahan, Jr., more commonly known as D.J. Trahan, is a graduate of Clemson University and a current professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Trahan was born in Georgia in 1980 but grew up in South Carolina playing the sports of golf and baseball. He chose to pursue golf at Clemson University. Trahan became a recipient of the 2002 Eisenhower Trophy after clinching the title of the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 2000 and representing the United States in 2001 at the Walker Cup Match. Since turning professional in 2003, he has obtained three wins, two in the PGA Tour and one in the Web.com Tour. Trahan is still remembered for his time at Clemson as he received a copious amount of awards, including the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2000, ACC Player of the Year in 2002, the Ben Hogan Award and the Jack Nicklaus Award in 2002, and many more. In addition, he was the Carolinas Golf Association Player of the Year for three consecutive years in the early 2000’s. He continues to compete professionally to this day and continues to build up his credentials.
