D.J. Fluker

D.J. Fluker is an offensive tackle with the Baltimore Ravens. He debuted professionally with the San Diego Chargers in 2013 and has been playing for them ever since. Fluker was born and raised in New Orleans and was heart-breakingly a victim of Hurricane Katrina. He and his family fled the state just hours before the severe damage occurred and relocated to Mississippi and later Alabama. Fluker, weighing in at over 300 pounds, excelled at shot put on the track team and football in high school. He was recruited by the University of Alabama, where he made the Crimson Tide proud for four years before entering the 2013 NFL Draft. Fluker was selected by the Chargers in the first round as the eleventh overall pick. Fluker was honorably named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week in his seventh week of his first season with the Chargers.
