Daniela Hantuchova

Daniela Hantuchova is a professional tennis player who is of Slovakian descent. She got her start in 1999, competing in several ITF tournaments and the occasional WTA tournament that year. In 2000, Hantuchova began competing in doubles tournaments as well as singles events, adding to her impressive resume with a victory at the Eutoral Slovak Indoors. She began to compete at a higher level with appearances at the US Open, Austrian Open, Wimbledon, and other major championships. Her main breakthrough came in 2001, when she would win Wimbledon doubles, finishing second at the same event one year later. She has four mixed doubles titles to her name, a U.S. Open, a Wimbledon, an Australian Open, and a French Open. Her career as a singles competition has been good as well, as Hantuchova has compiled a 526- 321 overall record. To this day, Hantuchova still competes in the main tournaments, and looks to add to her already impressive resume.
